Leigh Powell, Executive Chairman
Leigh Powell serves as MediSpend’s executive chairman. With a successful track record as a CEO and founder of both public and private software and services companies, his leadership includes roles as CEO of National Datacare and co-founder and CEO of iContracts in 2009. Under his guidance, iContracts became a leader in cloud-based revenue, policy, contract and compliance management solutions for the life sciences industry, and was ultimately acquired by RLDatix in 2019. Previously, Leigh led PCHelps, LLC, a prominent provider of packaged PC and mobile device support to Fortune 500 companies, overseeing its rapid expansion and successful acquisition.
Leigh has been recognized for his accomplishments, receiving the MESDA CEO of the year award and being named a “HighTech All-Star” by Massachusetts High Technology magazine during his tenure as CEO of I-many, Inc.™, where he led the company through a successful IPO in 2001, growing it to nearly $60 million in revenue in less than four years. He began his career with Accenture, spending a decade architecting and launching enterprise software solutions for the process and energy industries.
Leigh holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
Todd Venetianer, Executive Vice Chairman
Todd Venetianer is MediSpend’s executive vice chairman, bringing over 35 years of experience growing and leading organizations in enterprise software and financial solutions. His leadership spans managing financial, accounting, human resources, legal, engineering and professional services teams. Notably, he served as COO/CFO at National Datacare and COO/CFO at iContracts, where he helped scale the company from a start-up SaaS-based contract management provider to a multi-million-dollar global enterprise.
Prior to these roles, Todd led professional services and support teams for several software companies and provided strategic and technology consulting to both small to mid-sized businesses and Fortune 500 corporations.
He earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Washington University in St. Louis.
Chris Gingras, Chief Product Strategy Officer
Chris Gingras is MediSpend’s chief product strategy officer. With more than 20 years of experience working with life science, medical device and provider organizations of all sizes, he is an experienced compliance and business ethics leader. He’s passionate about providing expert advice to clients on resolving complex regulatory issues and assisting in the development of global compliance programs that effectively minimize business risk.
Before joining MediSpend, Chris founded MedCompli where he developed an innovative software solution to simplify many tasks associated with managing the day-to-day activities of a compliance program.
Chris proudly serves as a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy and previously deployed in support of contingency operations as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force.
Chris has a B.A. from the University of New Hampshire and an M.B.A. from Rice University. He currently resides in Gainesville, FL with his wife, two daughters, one dog, one horse and a handful of chickens.
Seth Houston, Chief Commercial Officer
Seth Houston is MediSpend’s chief commercial officer. A 20-year veteran of the software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions industry, he has a passion for helping pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers use innovative technologies to solve business challenges and meet their objectives.
Seth draws on his leadership skills to drive all of MediSpend’s SaaS-based solutions and supporting advisory services.
Before joining MediSpend, Seth was managing director of IQVIA’s US Technology Solutions business unit, where he led cross-functional teams responsible for delivering SaaS-based solutions to life sciences clients. Earlier in his career, he held a variety of leadership positions in product management, marketing, sales and business development with OpenQ, Wolters Kluwer, Proscape Technologies, and IMS Health.

Jim Despelteau, Chief Technology Officer
Jim Despelteau is MediSpend’s chief technology officer. An executive with more than 30 years of research & development experience across multiple industries and technological disciplines, Jim drives the strategic technology vision, implementation and operation of MediSpend’s compliance cloud solution and application suite.
Jim draws on his experience in healthcare information technology systems, analytics and cloud-hosted software-as-a-service (SaaS) distribution to shape compliance technology solutions that meet the needs of life sciences companies today and into the future.
Before joining MediSpend, Jim served as chief technology officer at Qcentive, where he bootstrapped the R&D organization to launch the first version of its value-based contracting platform. Earlier in his career, he held senior positions at Verisk Health (now Verscend), where he led global product development and infrastructure teams supporting multiple population health analytics product lines. He has held technology leadership positions for companies in the CRM, enterprise collaboration, and semiconductor capital equipment industries.
Carl Leinbach, General Manager, Life Sciences
Carl Leinbach is MediSpend’s general manager of operations. With a deep background in technology and software training, he earned the distinction of Adobe Certified Expert in Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign and GoLive, sharing his expertise at numerous association conferences for Adobe Systems, Inc., as well as national, state and local photography conventions.
Carl transitioned into the healthcare and life sciences technology space at iContracts in 2011, where he contributed significantly by writing documentation, providing training and leading numerous software implementations as the manager of the implementation and support team. Before joining MediSpend, over the past few years, Carl expanded his expertise into product management.
He earned his B.S. degree in Mathematics while at Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania.
Neeraj Singhal, Vice President, Product Management
Neeraj Singhal is MediSpend’s vice president, Product Management. With more than 25 years experience in technology leadership, Neeraj drives development and commercialization of MediSpend’s portfolio of cloud-based solutions for healthcare and life sciences companies.
Neeraj leverages his product development expertise, including Six Sigma Black Belt certification, to lead MediSpend’s product management and professional services teams toward their strategic goal of providing proactive compliance tools that meet customers’ needs today and tomorrow.
Customers benefit from his extensive experience developing transparency products, leading large-scale implementations and managing global teams.
Prior to joining MediSpend, served as vice president of professional and client services at MDx Medical (Vitals) where he launched a software-as-a-service healthcare cost transparency product and implemented it for several large health plans. Earlier in his career he served as vice president of global product management and innovation at Cegedim and was a consultant for IGate Capital, where he was involved in multiple global customer relationship management system projects.

Scott Feldman, Managing Director, Susquehanna Growth Equity
Scott is a managing director with Susquehanna Growth Equity and has been with the group since its inception. He focuses on financial services, healthcare IT and human resources technology.
Before joining Susquehanna, Scott was an investment banker with Broadmark Capital, a boutique investment banking firm serving telecom, technology and internet companies. He started his career at Gabelli & Company and worked directly for the founder Mario Gabelli, widely considered one of the greatest value investors of all time.
Scott graduated with a bachelor’s in finance from the Wallace E. Carroll School of Management at Boston College with concentrations in economics and computer science.

Jeff Hennessy, Chairman & CEO, HMP Global, LLC
Jeff Hennessy serves as the chairman and CEO of HMP Global, a multichannel leader in healthcare events and education, with a mission to improve patient care. Under Hennessy’s leadership, the company has grown to produce nearly 400 accredited medical education events each year, as well as clinically relevant, evidence-based content for the global healthcare community across a range of therapeutic areas, from oncology to psychiatry, reaching millions each month. With more than 30 years of leadership in field of healthcare, Hennessy possesses deep experience in entrepreneurship, M&A, building high-performing teams and organizations, medical publishing and education, and sales, with a focus most notably on the managed care market. Before joining HMP Global, Hennessy founded Princeton Media Associates, LLC (PMA), a healthcare communications company with a portfolio of award-winning and well-respected brands including First Report Managed Care. In 2008, Hennessy assumed the roles of president and chief operating officer of HMP when the company acquired PMA, leading to the formation of one of the largest and most respected accredited continuing education companies. Prior to PMA, Hennessy also founded American Medical Publishing; under his leadership, the company launched one of the most successful brands in healthcare communications history: the American Journal of Managed Care.
Steve Eaton, Partner, EDG Partners
Stephen Eaton is co-founder and managing director of EDG Partners, a private equity investment firm focused on the healthcare sector. At EDG Steve has assisted portfolio companies as they set strategic direction, establish best practices and attract key executive leadership. His background in a variety of healthcare settings has allowed him to successfully identify specific healthcare market sectors for targeted investment. He serves on the EDG investment committee.
Prior to EDG, Steve was a successful investor, chief executive officer and entrepreneur in healthcare companies. He previously served on the board of directors of LaVie Healthcare, Housecall Medical, Navigator Group Purchasing, and Emory Healthcare. He was the founder, chief executive officer, and chair of the board of Centennial Healthcare. He currently serves on the board of directors at First Call Ambulance Services and at MediSpend, a cloud-based compliance solution primarily for pharmaceutical and medical device companies.
Steve has also been active in not-for-profit healthcare in Atlanta as past chair of the board of Saint Joseph’s Health System and Emory Saint Joseph’s Inc. He was also a board member at Mercy Care Services, a community-based provider of mobile and fixed site clinical services to underserved populations.
Steve currently is a board member of the Southeast Board for the U.S. Fund for UNICEF and Project Open Hand.
Dave Cormack, Chairman, Curve Dental Software
Dave Cormack currently serves as chairman at Curve Dental Software and vice-chairman of Scottish Premiership’s Aberdeen Football Club. Most recently, Cormack served as president and chief executive officer at Brightree where he led the start up to a market leader in the post-acute care industry. With over 35 years of experience in the software industry, Cormack has extensive knowledge and an international track record for building successful software organizations.
Prior to Cormack’s success with Brightree, he founded and developed two highly successful start-up ventures, Soft Systems Limited, a London-based vendor of business intelligence tools, and MiracleWorkers.com, an Atlanta-based market leader in internet recruiting for the healthcare industry, now owned by CareerBuilder.com. After the acquisition of Soft Systems by IQ Software, Cormack served as senior vice president of worldwide operations for this NASDAQ-listed business.
Cormack is a 1981 graduate of Aberdeen College of Commerce, Scotland. He and his wife, Fiona, founded the Cormack Family Foundation, a charitable trust which works with a range of charities and initiatives largely in support of young people and children around the world.
Aneesha Raghunathan, Investor and Board Member, Susquehanna Growth Equity
Before joining Susquehanna Growth Equity, Aneesha was a Venture Capital investor at Bessemer Venture Partners and a Private Equity investor at TA Associates. She also spent time as an operator-in-residence at Alleycorp, where she worked with founders/CEOs on key operational growth initiatives. Aneesha graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business
